Twenty-two years (with one break in 1994) is a long time to have a single politician in office. The odd southwestern and eastern borders of the Fourth District are the result of a process whereby politicians choose their voters, instead of vice-versa: gerrymandering. The lines for District 4 were drawn by partisan politics, with the goal of preserving the dominance of Rep. David Price.

Please understand, I don't have anything against Rep. Price personally. It's just that he's perpetuating a system that is punishing our poor and middle class, eroding our liberties, and destroying our economic future through excessive spending, taxation, and serving corporate interests. On that basis alone, it's time for a change.

Given Rep. Price's status as a long-term incumbent, this campaign will be challenging. But the nation, and the district, are ready for change. We have the passion, the message of peace, prosperity, and liberty, the grassroots enthusiasm, and the organizing experience to win this race for the people of District 4, and the nation.

Please donate to our campaign today, and please volunteer to engage in the discussion by hosting your own Private Gathering at your home or business. We'll sit down for an hour or so with you and your friends, discuss the challenges we face, and how we can move forward successfully. There's nothing more important than talking with each other about the issues that are so important to all of us. I look forward to meeting you, and continuing this conversation in person.
