About "Washington, You're Fired!"

A Film About The Destruction of The U.S. Constitution

Washington, You're Fired is capturing the imagination of audiences across the United States as more people awaken to the realization that we must all join together in a battle for human rights and constitutionally guaranteed liberties or face losing them forever.

SPYING, TRACKING & FISA'S SECRET COURT:
What if every email, every phone call; every time you surfed the Internet, your private communications were being siphoned into a gigantic dragnet funded by a forty-five billion dollar budget and carried out in cooperation with the FBI, AT&T, and Verizon? "Washington, You're Fired" presents compelling first-hand testimony and whistleblower accounts, punching holes in the official "war on terrorism" excuse that has been used to dismantle the U.S. Bill of Rights and tip the scales of executive checks and balance in this country.

ABUSE OF POWER & MALFEASANCE IN OFFICE:
From the President's illegal NSA spy program and misuse of the FISA court; to wrongful imprisonment, torture and premeditated removal of due process rights -- you will never again look at your elected representatives the same way again. We'll take a disturbing look at the last seven years of fundamentally flawed terror-related spy bills; show you how they collectively and negatively impact your civil liberties, and what we must do now to rescue our constitution before it is too late.

DISMANTLING THE U.S. BILL OF RIGHTS:
Bills such as the USA PATRIOT Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the John Warner Defense Act have crippled the U.S. Constitution and have weakened the liberties that Americans once thought they could never lose. The loss of Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus, coupled with a new definition of "torture" are just the tip of the authoritarian iceberg. If enacted, HR 1955 (S. 1959) will for the first time put "thought crime" laws on the books, robbing citizens of their right to freedom of religious and political thought; turning every American into a suspect - guilty until proven innocent.

PROBLEM, REACTION, GAME PLAN
PROVIDING SOLUTIONS: The American people know in their hearts that a problem exists in our current political structure and their solutions are simple, direct, and honest. Washington, You're Fired captures the spirit and zest of an old fashioned Boston tea party and captivatingly delivers the audience an education into detrimental legislation that will affect them and generations of Americans to come.

An Offer You Can't Refuse

Please join us as we watch and critique this important documentary.

"It's time to get beyond the false choice of Democrat versus Republican, and engage in a discussion on the real decision in 2008 -- liberty versus tyranny. Only the people can hold their elected representatives accountable, and we hope this documentary will spark a discussion on the need for principled representation that defends the Bill of Rights and serves the people instead of corporate and special interests."

- William (B.J.) Lawson, Candidate for Congress, North Carolina's 4th District
